I have a video that I took on my camera and the file is too big to email or upload to youtube. Before someone told me how to make it smaller using windows movie maker but I don't remember how to do it and the question got deleted. If anyone could help me out that'd be fantastic. (I need lots of direction because I am not the most computer savvy person)

  1. The first thing you need to do is edit out all the stuff that's not worth watching - for most people that's about 90% of it!  You do that by dropping your clips on the timeline and dragging the left and right edges to trim off the excess.  You can copy clips, so you can use different bits of the same clip.  When you've finished editing you can go to File / Save Movie File and select the output that suits your needs - "E-Mail" for e-mail (!) or "My Computer"  for YouTube.

  2. Probably export (I'm not sure what it is called in Movie Maker) into another format, like .WMV (for Windows Media Player, this is also a format you can uplod to YouTube.) or I believe there is an email option. This is of course after you have imported your clips and placed them in the timeline.
