Make your own coffe bar?

I saw a coffee bar on the knot, but I don't know what it consists of? Is it like gourmet coffee that people help themselves to? And how would you go about doing one without hiring someone? And what kinds of things would you have?

I think a coffee bar is an excellent idea.  You could have regular coffee, decaf, maybe a couple of flavored coffees, whipped cream, different creamer flavors, etc.

Could you rent coffee machines?  Maybe set them up prior to the ceremony?  Or just load them up and appoint a friend to hit the "brew" button?

Keep looking at how to do this.  I think it sounds great.

A coffee bar normally consists of using an espresso machine to make espresso, lattes and cappuccinos.  In addition, you could add different types of gourmet coffee or maybe flavored coffee.

To have a coffee bar, you'll need:

Espresso Machine (with steaming wand to make lattes/cappuccinos)

Lemons Twists (to add to the espresso shots)

Sugar or Cinnamon Sticks for the Lattes/Cappuccinos

Mugs

Flavored Syrups to make different types of lattes

To do it without an attendant you need to rent the coffee containers that you pump the top to dispence to coffee.

At leaste 3 flavors of coffee along with decaff, tea and maybe a specialty like espesso or cappucino.

Different creams, milks and flovored syrups.

Cups, stirs, and saucers.

sugar, and substitutes as well.

And have options at the bar to add spirits like irish creames and what not.
