Question

It's 5-0 score in favor of the away team going into the 3rd period of Game 7 at the Stanley Cup Final.

In this game the home team comes from behind to win it in overtime.

Make a story of what happened.

Include the time of goal(s), teams played, where, who scored, and what the final score was. You can include as much as you choose.

So how many days till the NHL starts the 2008-2009 season???!!!!

This is the 2009-10 season. The Leafs drafted Tavares and he lead them all the way to game seven of the Stanley Cup final against Edmonton. The game is in Toronto.

It's 5-0 Edmonton, and with 1 minute left in the second Tavares scores. But going into intermission with the score 5-1 it looks hopeless.

Less then a minute into the third Tavares scores again. 5-2

Two minutes later Kaberle unloads a cannon from the point to make it 5-3.

With just under five minutes left, Tavares and Tlusty work the give and go and Tlusty makes it 5-4.

Less then a minute left and Cogliano gets called for high sticking. Toskala sits on the bench and watches the play unfold. Toronto keeps shooting and missing, or having their shots blocked but they remain in control of the puck. Ten seconds on the clock. White shoots. Huge rebound. Kulemin shovels it in. It's going to overtime!

Two scoreless overtime periods are played. Then, seventeen minutes into the third overtime, Finger gets called for tripping. Edmonton is pressing hard, coming close twice only to be robbed by Toskala. Twenty seconds left in the penalty, and Moore blocks a shot.  Tavares picks it up just inside the blue line.

Tavares is off to the races. He closes in on Garon. Deke. To the backhand. Garon is down. Tavares shoots. HE SCORES!!!

THE LEAFS WIN THE STANLEY CUP!!!

I did this 7 yrs ago in Grade 4, haha. It's Dallas at Toronto...the #1 seeds from both conferences. Dallas took a 3-0 series lead but the Leafs came back. btw, this is from 2001. At 4:00, Darcy Tucker scores! 30 seconds later, yanic perrault scores on a power play. then with 6 minutes left, dallas takes a penalty. next minute, dallas takes another penalty to give us a 5-on-3. Pat Quinn pulls Cujo to give us a 6-on-3. Sundin scores with 4:30 remaining. dallas kills off the rest of the penalty but they take another one with 2:00 left. Roberts heads to the net and redirects a sundin shot to make it 5-4 with 1:15 left. then with the extra attacker, all of the leafs bang at the puck near ed belfour and eventually, sundin gets his 2nd and ties the game with 3 seconds left!!!! place goes crazy! then in OT, like 9 minutes in Sundin rips a shot from the circle on a 2-on-1 into the top corner glove side and the leafs win the Stanley Cup and break the drought!!! Sundin gets conn smythe.:P

Avery scores a goal in the 4th period.

Shanahan gets one too.

Jagr scores, just 22 seconds after Shanahan.

Scott Gomez gets a goal in there somewhere.

When there's 17 seconds left Shanahan shoots wide, and scores!!!!

Okay, overtime.

Half way into overtime, Bobby Holik (Devils) makes a great shot, but it is saved by the amazing Henrik Lundqvist!

Shanahan gets the puck, and scores!!!!!

Rangers Win it all.

Final Score 6-5.

Hat trick for Shanahan. Yay!

Of course this can't be true, because the Devils would never be in game 7.

( using 08-09 players) Edmonton Oilers vs the pittsburgh penguins

in the 3rd period, theres 15 minutes left, Crosby has 1 more defencemen to beat, then Stortini Checks him so hard that he flys like 5 m. BOOM Crosby got injured, he cant play the rest of the game. Stortini gets a charging penalty.  the Pens win the faceoff then Whitney makes a bad pass and Hemsky intercepts it and does a crazy deke and scores the goal on Fleury. 12:00 mins left.Pens win another faceoff and Malkin gets it and takes a hard slapshot at Garon. Garon saves it, but its rolling still Visnovsky pokes it out just before it gos past the line. it goes to Staios, he passes it up to horcoff then to Cole and Cole fakes a shot and passes it to hemsky and he scores again! 9:37 left. Oilers win the faceoff and Visnovsky gets it. He passes to Gagner and gagner dekes around all the defencesmen and shoots, stick saved by Fleury, then he goes for the wraparound and scores because Fleury sliiped and fell. 7:14 left score is 5-3. Sabourin replaces fleury. Cogliano gets the puck and passes it to Gagner, Gagner passes it to Nilsson, he cuts in fron t of the net and makes a nice wrist shot over the goalies stick and scores. 5:00 left 5-4. Horcoff with the puck now, he shoots! But Sabourin saves it.4:38 left. GAgner gets the puck and he puts it into the net!TIE GAME! 4:24left. Gonchar checks Gagner Hard into the wall and punches gagner. Gagner starts fighting too. they get major penalites. No goals so it goes into over time.  40 seconds into overtime and gagner is back on! He gets a breakaway! He does a behind the leg deke through Sabourin's legs then pokes it in!!! Gagner Wins the cup for the Oilers!! 46 seconds into OT. Final score: 6-5 Oilers.
