1. Celtics- they are the champs

2. Magic- I predict around 53 wins Howard will finish top 5 in the MVP voting

3. Wizards- 50 wins 2 years ago before the injuries they had the best record in the east and was on there was to 50 plus wins

4. Sixers- 48 wins they will be a solid defensive team with Brand and Dalembert in the paint and towards the playoffs they will come on strong and close out the season on a run to seal the 4th seed

5. Heat- they aren't as bad as there record indicated last year they were dealing with a lot of injuries and now Wade has more help in Marion and Beasley

6. Pistons- they are declining and everyone is on the trading block I have to see what they are going to do

7. Knicks- the Knicks will surprise alot of people and sneak into the playoffs with a huge second half of the season

8. Raptors/Hawks- they both are question marks this will come down to the final week of the season

1.Lakers- I predict any where from 60-70 wins Kobe & company is coming back with vengeances

2.Hornets- expect anywhere from 55-60 wins Paul will offically become the best point guard in the league averaging 20 points 11.5 dimes and 2.3 steals

3.Jazz- they will be right behind the Hornets where ever they finish Derron Williams will finaly make the all star team

4. Blazers- they will come into there own

  1. Dude come on I'm so sick of this!! Suns don't suck man, don't leave 'em off the playoff list and freakin put the Mavs, Rockets, Blazers and my gosh the Clippers ahead of them. Geez man these are the FREAKIN Suns we are takin about. Remember 2 time MVP Steve Nash future MVP (ya put him in there instead of Gil) Amare Stoudemire and the Big Diesel Shaq. They kinda got some superstars on their team lets not forget. Whatever everyone will be eatin their words next year when they come out and surprise everyone. The rest of your list is good man........................sorry for gettin so mad about the Suns I'm just so mad they are always gettin booted off the playoffs because of a half a bad season. Remember they only finished 2 games behind the Lakers and Shaq was only there for a couple weeks give it time.

O ya where are the CAVS

  2. Wade and Marion will kill everyone. Miami its gonna be champs again

  3. 1 Celtics

    2 Wizards

    3 Magic

    4 Sixers

    5 Pistons

    6 Raptors

    7 Nets

    8 Bulls

    1 Lakers

    2 Hornets

    3 Jazz

    4 Rockets

    5 Spurs

    6 Mavs

    7 Blazers

    8 Suns

I agree with your MVP race

Rookie of the Year: Mayo, with Bayless as a close 2nd

    Defense: Chandler

    Most Improved: Arenas

Coach of da year: Van Gundy

    Finals agree

  4. Couldn't Agree More except i think Lakers will make it but not orlando i thing boston will repeats for like 3-4 years

    boston 4-2 beat lakers

  5. as good as d-howard is, i can't see the magic getting past pistons, cavs (LB James), boston (big 3), and even sixers (brand, iguodala) if they play well together! lakers still have good 2-3 years ahead of them to win the championship so i wouldn't be surprised to see them win the west again next year! but i think Lebron will win the MVP next year! hes just too dominant of a player and i think he will win that. mike d' antoni is coaching the knicks... no matter how good he is.... he is still coaching the knicks! lol

  6. I don't agree with your order, because  the Jazz and the Blazers can't both be in the top 4 as they are in the same division as are Orlando & Washington and Boston/Philly so your scenario could never happen without a rule change.

I also think NY will be improved, but they are going to have some growing pains, and I don't see what the lakers have done to almost semi-sweep the finals.  I think the teams you picked to make the playoffs are mostly good, but I can't agree with the order.

My bigger issue is with your individual awards.  All good players, but Kobe just played a 103 game season, is practicing all summer, turning 30, and playing (hopefully) all the way to the gold medal game in the Olympics, and you think he will be dominant for another 100+ games to win the championship next season without injury of fatigue?

Bynum may have the chance to be special, and he is also coming off a major knee injury.  Besides, that great season he had last year? It consisted of 35 games (about 1/3 of the Lakers' season last year) so pardon me if I have doubts.  I don't think he is back to last season's ability until mid-way through the season and maybe not until the following.

As for Ben Gordon, he doesn't even have a team right now.  I am hesitant to say a guy will win an award when he isn't even on a team yet...but maybe that's just me.  Also, not sure how you pick an MVP when we haven't even had training camp yet.

You are obviously a Lakers' fan, and I don't blame you.  They are going to be really good, but I think they are still a year away, and I think you underestimate the rest of the league and what has happened over the summer and what could still happen.

I agree, they'll make it all the way to the WCF (against the NOH) because they are THAT good. However, we'll have to see what happens from then on.

    Good luck.

  15. I agree with some of the stuff that your saying so I well copy and paste what I agree with.

    5.   Pistons- they are declining and everyone is on the trading block I have to see what they are going to do

    6. Raptors- They will have a strong front court and a good PG. You don't really need much more then that to make noise in the east.

    7. Bucks- With Jefferson in the mix, Redd, and Charlie starting its looking good.

    8. Heat/Knicks/Hawks- this will come down to the final week of the season. I think the Heat will take it.

(If LeBron doesn't get any help then the cavs will not make the playoffs. As time goes by more and more teams will learn how to contain LeBron)

1.Lakers- I predict any where from 60-65 wins Kobe & company is coming back with vengeance

2.Hornets- expect anywhere from 55-60 wins Paul will officially become the best point guard in the league averaging 20 points 11.5 dimes and 2.3 steals

3.Jazz- they will be right behind the Hornets where ever they finish Derron Williams will finally make the all star team

    4. Spurs- same ol same ol

    5. Rockets- there defense is to good not to make the playoffs

    6. Mavs- expect them to be better than they were last year Kidd will have a whole season to get into the mix

    7. Suns- Amari will keep getting better and better

    8. Clippers/Blazers/Nuggets- Anyone of these team could take it.

    MVP Race

    1. Chris Paul

    2. Dwight Howard

    3. Kobe

    4. KG

    5. Gilbert

    Rookie of the year-Jerryd Bayless

Defensive player of year- Kobe (he's coming into the season like a mad man on both ends)

    Sixth man- Ben Gordon

    MIP- Andrew Bynum

Coach of the year- Mo Cheeks

Finals Wizards over Hornets in 6 to 7 games

Finals MVP Gilbert, Caron or CP3

  16. biased Laker fan, geeeeeeze

  17. How are you not gonna have the Cavs up there? The Lakers will play the Spurs in the Western Conference Finals and they will lose. Kobe ain't gonna win defensive, Bynum ain't gonna win MIP cuz how can you improve your stats w/ Gasol on the team?

I think CP3 will up his game and win MVP. I predict Celtics v Spurs in the finals.

  18. ya i agree with the kobe thing and the lakers winning it all but i think its gonna be the same finals as last year except this time the lakers take it.  and the wizards wont be that high of a seed

  19. This will make a good cartoon on FOX Kids.

  20. wooh man, no offence but over rating the Blazers and also the Lakers. You underestimating the Rockets.  The Rockets beat the Lakers without Yao and the Hornets twice w/o Yao last season.

Blazers are young and talented but they will have to wait at least another year.
