Makeup Shopping Spree?

Question

me and my friend are going on a make up shopping spree just befor school...i just need to pick up a few things....im only gonna use 30 max and i have to i can use the whole 50..but whats the best eyehowdow that stays all on day and is a dark and almost a black but still looks good....and whats the darkest mascara that stays on the longest because when i wear dark eyeshowdow the mascara always somehow disappers and it makes my eyes look weird

Foundation:

- If you wear foundation at all (which I don't really recommend you do, unless it's mineral powdered), I'd either get Revlon Custom Creations foundation, or Everyday Minerals powder foundation (which, sadly, could only be ordered on their website)

Concealer:

- Recommended if you have dark eye circles or redness around your nose, I recommend CoverGirl Complexion one

Blush:

- If you already have a natural flush to your face/cheeks, then don't even bother w/ blush, but if you're pale like me, get a natural pink blush (I like CoverGirl's [$5-7 depending on which one you get] or N.Y.C. [$2-5] for blush)

Eyeliner:

- Revlon ColorStay pencil [$6] and liquid eyeliner [$8] are the best drugstore eyeliners I've ever used, they stay on very well and barely smudges.

Eyeshadow:

- NYX makes great eyeshadow [single eyeshadows are $4], they stay on forever, and at the end of the day, it's still nice and perfect. Use a cream eyeshadow as a base (something like Revlon Illuminance Creme eyeshadow [$5] or NYX Jumbo Eyeshadow Pencil [$3] should work) to make the shadow last even longer.

Mascara:

- Most mascaras are pretty pigmented as long as you choose the darkest color, but two I recommend are CoverGirl LashBlast [$7-8, which defines your lashes] and Maybelline Great Lash [$4-6, which thickens your lashes] and both of them could be found in Very Black.

Lip gloss:

- Any lip gloss with a color you like will do, of course there are ones that last longer than others. Victoria's Secret Beauty Rush lip gloss lasts me a whole day, but it's a bit sticky. [$7 retail]

Im not too sure about the eyeshadow, but as far as mascara goes, Maybelline Great Lash (Pink tube, Green cap) is an oldie, but a goodie. Its the best!!! Its also priced the fairest out of the other mascaras, at around 4-5 $ and well worth it!

i say go for a lighter shadow then. i say possibly almay lasts a little bit. but i've never found anything that lasts all day. but as for mascara i say that stuff from covergirl i think it is, that's in that green tube, that lasts a while, not much curl but it lasts

I think Lash Blast is by far the BEST drugstore brand mascara for only about $7.  The lengthen, seperates, and volumizes like nobody's business.  The H.I.P Jelly Balms are also a great comparison to the MAC's Tendertones so that's a great deal as well.  It's very sheer and glossy and moisturizing with a delicious smell.  H.I.P also has pigmented eyeshadows as well as NYX.

ok so.  if you want eyeshadow with staying power go to hot topic. If you think about it the makeup there is designed for kids who go to a lot of shows and it has to last through mosh pits... and guess what it does. They have pigments for 4 dollars that last all day, and lots of dark eyeshadows that have fun things like glitter and stuff in them. Also, pick up some eyeshadow primer there, it will make all of your shadows last all day regardless of brand. as for mascara go for waterproof, it has more staying power and doesnt lose its color. I'd say covergirl lashblast is the best. Hope I helped.
