Question:

Makeup colors for my hair/eyes/skintone combination?

I am getting ready for high school and I want some makeup that is high-quality and long-lasting. I don't know what colors I should choose, though. I have medium blonde hair and rather pale skin that is oily and tends to break out. My eyes are my best feature; they are green/gold/blue and very large, with long dark lashes, so I want to emphasize them. Based on that information, what colors should I choose for lip gloss, eyeliner, mascara, and eyeshadow?

  1. Clear Lip gloss

    Black Eyeliner

    Black Mascara

    Light Blue or Pink Eyeshadow

  2. You can pull off many colors with your trio-toned eyes.

Here is a list of colors that will enhance your features.

    Face:

Liquid Foundation (Dior Forever is really good)

    Blush Colors:

    Peach

    Rose

    Mauve

    Deep Dusty Rose

    Lip Colors:

    Cinnamon

    Deep Rose

    Rich Violet Under-toned Browns

Peaches (ranging from dark-light, and peachy glosses)

    Gold Under-toned Brown

    Cherry Tones (From Red-Brown)

    Eyes (Liners):

    Soft Black

Brown (The more rich the better, look for Chocolate browns)

    Deep Violet

    Charcoal

    Bronze

    Eyes (Shadows):

(Every girl needs her neutral basics; browns, taupe, rose, ivory, champagne, and a peach toned color)

    Gold

    Lilac

    Sage

(If you like the eye drama, some deep colors that will flatter you are; navy, amethyst, and deep gold/bronze.)

    Mascara:

Depending on the event your wearing makeup for, you can switch between black for evenings and drama and brown for school, work, and etc.

Also, you mentioned having gold tones in your eyes. To really enhance that unique feature, there is this mascara at Sephora (I'm sorry but I forgot the name) that is gold in color. I heard you can top it over black/brown mascara just to give your eyes a 'golden' touch.

    I really hope I helped!!!

  3. Like you said, if your eyes are large and are your best feature, you may want to keep everything else pretty natural. Foundation probably isn't necessary as something to heavy can look unpleasant perhaps powder. I suggest Loreal True match powder  in ivory. Its very light on the skin and looks lovely and natural. As for eyeshadow a colour that would reflect your eye colour would have an intense impact i suggest blues greens or medium brown, However if your wanting your makeup for school apply eyeshadow very lightly, as your eyesemphasizee your eye area. Iwouldn'tt use eyeliner personally, you don't want to end up looking like jody marsh!!!!! But if you think you would like to wear eyeliner go for a subtle colour like brown. Stear clear of liquid for school, pencil would be sufficient. A mascara with a comb would seperate your eye lashes AND tinint them black for the WOW factor!!!

A mascara like Rimmel Xtreme volume mascara will add volume to your eyelashes!

Always carry a clearlip glosss in your bag, colouredlip glossess arnt important unless you've gone for a plain and simple look with your eyes.

    Hope I helped.x

  4. If you are looking for a makeup brand then I would reccomend using MAC, it is my favorite brand. It is high-quality and long lasting. The only thing I wouldn't reccomend from that brand is their foundation, although it works for some, most people breakout from it. For color recomendations I think you should go to a counted and a professional make-up artist can help find the best products for you, they are usually all very nice and helpful.

They sell MAC at departments stores such as Norstrom, Macy's, Bloomingdales, and others and they also have MAC freestanding stores. you can check the line out at maccosmetics.com

  5. lip gloss- light pink or clear

    eyeliner- brown

mascara-rasin quartz it is by almay

    eyeshadow-wat ever matches ur clothes

  6. Because you are so young, the last thing you want is to put on make up too heavy. go for natural and natural colours with a hint of colour.

Clear or light natural pink lip gloss

    Black or brown mascara

brown eye liner,  Black maybe too dark, especially for day were, and taking in account your age.

    Natural browns for eye shadow,

I where Natural glow, which is like a powder that is put all over the face, you use it for blush and eye shadow, I sware by it also covers up skin discoloration, and impurities, clear lip gloss and black or brown eye liner and mascara, I never feel the need to where eye shadow unless Im going out in the evening, or to something very important. Id suggest to at least try it. Just make sure you get the right colour for your skin, and dont over apply..

  7. My eyes sound very similar to yours. In picking eyeshadow, you're typically supposed to go with a color the opposite of whatever color your irises are. I choose deep browns, golds, and dark green. Use a brown eyeliner if at all and brown or black mascara. For lips, I'd suggest being more natural since the eyes tend to be quite heavy. Go for a clear or pale pink gloss. Hope this helped. (:

  8. i think you should stay more natural. if you have acne, just put some cover up on it and if you want you can use powder to even out your skin a little, but that's not a must. if you do do this however, make sure you get a product that is water based, not oil based, as oil will make your skin even oilier and break out more! also, i would suggest you invest in some of Neutrogena or Clean and Clears oil blotting sheets so you can take the oil off of your face without touching your make up during the day...i love them (i too have very oily skin!!). since you already have long, dark lashes, you don't really need mascara...you could try curling them with a lash curler though to give them definition. i wouldn't really use eyeliner for you, but if you want then just line the bottom lash line with some brown and only go halfway across the water line...brown will look really natural on you. if you want to use mascara, use brown. light browns, tans, golds, and pinks will work for eyeshadow. a light, clear but shiny lipgloss will work. go for natural!

  9. I would stick with pale pinks and light brown

  10. almay has the best eye makeup to suit your eyes.

but i think maybe a gray eyeliner would look sweet but idk/

    and i dont use lipgloss

but burts bees pomegrante chapstick is the best stuff in the while world.

  11. Girls who skip the makeup and instead put on confidence every morning are way hotter.  Never thought clowns were very attractive, but that's me.

    I'm just sayin'.
