Question:

Makeup for under-eye circles :(?

I have pretty bad circles under my eyes that don't seem to go away, no matter how much sleep I get, or how many tea bags/cucumbers I use. Are there any specific (affordable?) products that would be good to invest in that would cover-up these ghastly circles?

Not only that, but how exactly do I put them on? Do I need foundation first, then concealer, then something else? Does the type of brush or applicator matter?? Wow, I'm so clueless...

By the way, this is pretty much my skin tone:

  1. Im going to tell you my secret beauty product for under eye circles. It is called TV Touch Concealer. It comes in 2 varieties, a lipstick like tube and a creamy version in a pot. Get the creamy version, it comes in 5 different colors. It costs $8 at the beauty store I buy it at. You can do a  search online for it.  Let me tell you it is a miracle worker! Apply it after you put on your foundation. Dab it on with a concealer brush or a triangle sponge. A little goes a long way. It is a very famous product among makeup artists and beauty queens. It works like magic. I hope this helps you! :-)

  2. foundation and then concealer, the foundation evens your skin tone and the concealer will brighted.  Use a concealer one shade lighter than your skin tone, and a dab of shimmery (white) powder in your inner corners of your eyes will detract from circles

  3. well the cause of bags under the eyes is SOMETIMES caused by lack of sleep. make sure you get alot of sleep.

as far as make up goes i would simply put a litlle liquid makeup on, including under your eyes, then some bronzer over. itll lighten up your face, as well as the darkness under your eyes.

    hope i helped=]

  4. If you wear foundation, apply that first and then put on the concealer.  If you use concealer first, you will rub it off when you put on the foundation.  Try Almay Bright Eyes Base + Concealer.  This product just came out and it's getting great reviews for covering under eye circles.

Apply the concealer to your under eye area, and then pat the concealer in gently with your ring finger.  Don't use too much concealer all at once.  Apply a little at a time and then hold the mirror back and look before applying more.  Remember that people aren't going to stand right in your face and stare at you, so you don't have to look perfect from 3 centimeters away.

If you are torn between which color foundation or concealer to get, find one that matches your skin tone and then pick the lighter of your options.  Makeup always darkens a little bit when it mixes with your skin's natural oils.  If you have olive or peach toned skin, don't get a pink toned foundation.  If you have rosy skin, get a fair or light foundation, not one that say warm neutral or that has yellow undertones.

You appear to have fair olive skin, so any product that says light, fair, neutral or light warm or light neutral or light beige will work for you.  Watch the word ivory, because that usually means it has a pink tone.
