  1. i use "Dove Mouitourising Tan", its light, i put it some nights, and re-apply a few nights after, and when i put my makeup on over it, even when it rubs off, the tan is there so it still looks ok.

  2. You need a primer. MAC makes a really good one.

  3. Use a powder on top of your foundation, and use a primer before you apply your foundation. It could also be the type of foundation your using (especially if it's a cheap brand).. try Make up forevers mat velvet.

  4. it may be the make-up you are using. sometimes it is best to get higher end stuff that will last the day. I swear by MAC cosmetics, though it isn't always cheap.

setting powder could help, it is stage make-up, but it sort of seals it on and prevents sweat from ruining it.

this also depends on what kind of base you use... powder? or tube?

  5. Smashbox has a primer that is awesome!  I'm sure you can find any primer to use prior to applying your make-up but I know this one rocks!  It's the best I have used....your make-up with stay put all day long.  Good luck!

  6. I had that same problem so I used to wear liquid eye liner but then I stopped so now I just use the pencil but after I put it on I go over it with liquid and it stays on a lot longer. With blush and cover up if you put it on then you take a cloth or something the you just wipe it over your face gently then it gets deeper into yor skin and stays on longer. I hope this helped. bye

  7. Don't forget to set with powder.

A face primer is one of the best ways to insure your makeup stays on longer, they're relatively new products so few drugstore brands make primers. They pamper the skin and create a protective barrier. Primers are excellent for people with combination to oily skin. Just apply after moisterizer and let it sink into the skin for a few minutes, and carry on with your regular foundation routine.

Most foundation primers work the same but there is a difference with high-end and drugstore.

    Many high-end brands carry primers

    NARS Makeup Primer

MAC Prep and Prime (I use and recommend)

Smashbox Photo Finish Foundation Primer (I use and recommend)

    Bare Escentuals bareVitamins Prime Time

    Laura Mercier Foundation Primer

Lorac aquaPRIME Oil Free Makeup Primer

Sephora Professionnel Perfection Makeup Base (I use and recommend)

SheSieDo Makeup Sheer Enhancer Base SPF15

    Some drugstore

Sally Hansens Lumizing Foundation Primer (I use and recommend)

Monistat Anti-Chafing Gel (use and recommend)

Rimmel London Recover Perfect Skin Primer

Revlon Beyond Natural Smoothing Primer (I use and recommend)

    Invest in an eyeshadow primer.

It keeps the eyeshadow vibrant, no creasing and no fading and it WILL last all day.

    Highend-

    Too Face Shadow Insurance

    Urban Decay Primer Potion

    Benefit Lemon-Aid

    Drugstore-

L'Oreal Decrease (just as good at UD, if not better because of the packaging)

No 7 Colour Perfect Eye Shadow

Sally Hansen Fast Fix Eye Shadow Base

  8. You can try a long wearing foundation and the use a concealer stick in a similar color as the foundation on your eye lids and lips as a primer. I would then use a similar long wearing loose powder to "set" the foundation. I would suggest Avon Perfect Wear Extra Lasting Liquid Foundation, Ideal Shade Concealer stick followed by a light sweep of loose powder in a shade lighter than the foundation so it does make your face look too dark. Apply your eyeshadow, liners and then apply your lipstick. Should be good to go after this....hope it works have a great day.
