Makeup help for costume? sunken eyes

i want to dress up as a vampire for a costume party, how can i use makeup to make my eyes look sunken and dark, almost like bruises?

We used to use dark eyeshadow all around the eyes when i was in my school plays..

or if you want to be really dedicated.. dont sleep for a few days lol.

use a black gray shadow next to your liners & lighten it up as you go up the lid, then blend in. a redish liner would help & use a dot of red on the lid- just make a swipe with a red liner & smudge it.  Use really light make up or powder. the browns(deep) give you the effect of a fresh bruise. Or for an old bruise, use the blues & grays, & a smidge of red.
