I am 14 and have never worn makeup. I'm asian, but am slighly tanned. I tried eyeliner before but it turned into a mess. I am thinking of getting everyday minerals products. My eyes are medium size, dark brown and I have a double eye lid and putting eyeliner on it made a mess. PLEASE help me with ideas and how to apply things. I am comfortable wearing foundation, light eye shadow, eyeliner and maybe some lipgloss. It needs to be easier to do. Please also reccommend brands. THANKS.

  1. youtube has great videos that will explain and give tips and stuff just type in "putting on ___ (eyeliner, etc)" umm are you fine with mascara? cuz if you curled your eyelashes and used mascara it would look good .... i think that using iwuid eyeloiner owuld be good for you too .. it takes some practice but looks better and isnt smeary or whatever :)

ohhhhhh mascara not allowed ok then umm liquid eyeliner i guess ... just try it and see what ya think :)

  2. Honestly, i've found that once i put makeup on everyday, such as eyeliner and such, and then not wear it, i look so much better.

    Makeup is overrated.

    Coverup/mascara is all i use.

hidiing blemishes really helps show off your natural beauty, and mascara brings your eyes out.

guys will also appreciate you so much more for being pretty without makeup, and you will love being able to go out with just some coverup, and maybe some blush/foundation if you feel it helps.

sorry adding on one more thing.

If you really want to wear eyeliner, plum/raisin colors are good if you put it on lightly, and sort of smudge it a small bit so its not as define.

Ohh..hmm. yeah then try eyeliner on the top really lightly and close to your eyelashes, you can try curling your eyelashes without mascara but im not sure it'd work? it does for me, but i have long eyelahses anyways.

  3. I say try to look natural.  Use a little cover up to cover under eye circles & blemishes, then use a loose mineral powder all over (everyday minerals is a good start.)  e.l.f makes good, cheap brushes- oh, and if you can't use mascara, curl your lashes.

  4. When I started first wearing makeup,I only wore a tiny bit.

    I wore little eyeliner&&mascara.

I would ask for your mom's advice first.

  5. yes, definelty try the bare minerals. thats what i use and it looks amazing and natural so try it. but not too much face/skin makeup it looks fake and usually bad. as for the eyes... i think your eyes would look best with some eyeliner. dont wear it on the top just on the bottom. but just a little bit so its not over doing it and overpowering your eyes. and then just light brown or goldish eyeshadow on the top lid. dont wear eyeliner on the top lid. its too much and doesnt always look good. and mascara on the top if you feel comfortable. just light on the lashes to make them stand out. and of course lip gloss. hope this helps you. but at the age of 14 you dont really need that much makeup just a little. best of luck!!!

  6. i found that applying eyeliner about halfway on your upper eyelid and half on your lower eyelid works good. then you buy a little smudging sponge tool (they are triangular in shape) and smudge it downwards to where its touching your eyelashes, this makes your lashes look fuller, which will help since you can't wear mascara. i like the Loreal paris pencil perfect self advancing eyeliner. match the color to the color of your lashes and eyebrows.

for eyeshadow, but a light cream color with a shimmer to it, and sweep it on your lid (lightly) and put a little in the inside corner of your eye. (a very little amount!) use an angled brush to do this.

buy a skin toned shade or light pink blush (if you get mineral, apply it very lightly because it can dry your skin out if you use to much) and apply it to the apples of your cheeks and sweep upwards. (basically, smile and that will show you were your apple is!)

then just chapstick with moisturizer and SPF (i like the burts bees brand)

i don't recomend foundation, its annoying. instead just use a little coverup on any spots you might have.

also, remember to wash your face every night and every morning!!!

    this is really important!!!

    hope this helped.
