Makeup... mom... me.... HELP!!!

Question

hey guys ok im 13 and i wear makeup.... but not alot just a little coverup blush and mascara thats it... but i never asked my mom if i could and i really want to start buying the "nicer" quality of makeup.... how do i ask my mom if i can wear makeup???

HELP PLEASE!!! im about to go back to school and i really want to look nice... im allll about natural looking makeup sooo if u have any tips that would help too!!!

If you are wearing makeup at all, I'm sure she knows and can tell! Just let her know you want to get some makeup and learn about it. You could even go to Sephora and they will do a free instore consultation. Just ask any employee! I always love to be pampered in that store. Lord knows I spend enough money in there to justify it!

lol. you should have told your mom you are wearing makeup, so she will trust you more. Just talk to her and say "mom can i wear a little more makeup, nothing too articfical looking.."

I had the same problem when i was your age. Everyone i knew started wearing makeup but my mom would only buy me the cheap stuff. I saved up enough money and bought it for myself with my mom there, that way we decided together what looked good on me. This is a fun experience with your mom, you should tell her. If she's giving you a hard time it's probably because she doesn't want you to grow up.

use full n soft maybelline mascara...and umm to ask...just say.."Mom, the makeup I have just isn't good. I really want to look good when I start school, and I was wondering if maybe sometime we could go to (name of nice makeup store) together and pick some out?" Try It!
