Makeup question! need help!?

is there any way my makeup can stay on longer without buying the expensive stuff you put on after all your makeup is on? my makeup always comes off during the day

If you buy some loose powder and put it on your face/under your eyes, then your makeup should stay a long time.

The everyday minerals I used didn't come off and it's not expensive compared to the other mineral makeups. I actually accidentally slept in it and when I used my makeup remover wipe some was still on my face. You can get a free 5 piece sample kit for the price of shipping (mine was only $3) so I don't think there's that much to lose. I really like their intensive concealer it worked really well. Always apply moisturizer before the foundation but I don't need an additional primer or setting powder with the everyday minerals. I was a die-hard bare minerals fan and I still love their blushes but I did have to use a finishing powder and touch it up. For a really good application of any loose powder makeup you'll need a concealer brush and kabuki brush but you can buy those from e.l.f (eyelipsface.com) or everydayminerals.com for cheaper than bare minerals/sephora/ulta. I never had luck with any liquid, cream or pressed foundation.

i have the same problem...

where i have gotten to the point where i just..

1. put alot on (i dont make it look bad tho! i just put alot of eye make up and lip make up on) as far as cover up... you are going to have to find what is called long-lasting coverup! you can find this anywheree.

2. i keep a small bag of my main make up products and whenever i have time i reapply some of it.

I would suggest a primer. I think the NARS primer is the best, but Cover Girl and Revlon make less expensive ones. It gives your makeup something to adhere to, and really makes it last thoughout the day! Good luck!

Make sure you give yrself plenty of time to apply yr base makeup for starters. There are a few things you can do.

- Try mixing 2 shades of foundation together to create a thicker liquid.

- Don't rub yr foundation in just blend it over yr skin.



-Always apply a matt powder over the top with a sponge. Maybelline Dream Matte powder is brilliant!

A really good way of getting make-up to stay without having to invest too much is to brush it over with a light compact powder, this will act as a sealant for the make-up and hopefully make it last a bit longer. I find the best compact power is 'rimmel stay matte' and is retailed for around £3.99 in UK stores. Obviously, choose a light shade, and literally just dust it on, so it's invisible. X

set your foundation witha transulcent powder. this will set it. Also put either powder or liquid sweat proof foundation on your lids and this will deffinately keep your eyeshadow on. I could never keep my eyeshadow on for more than an hour but I started using my estee lauder stay on place double wear make up under my eyeshadow on my eyelids and it stays on practically all day! The foundation is a little pricier than say revlon but it is the best one out there. It is sweat proof so you could get in the pool and it wont come off!

go to Walmart or a Pharmacy or something like Walgreens. They have good stuff. Thats where i get my makeup and its not too expensive. i get my lip gloss and stuff anywhere from $2.99 - $4.99. Try Water Proof mascara or an eye-lash curler. Also try that lasting long lip stick if they have it. You could also try eyeliner that is water proof. It will help with your problem alot! I use all of these items and they works very well. Hope i helped.

TIP: Remember to ask a person at the cash register which company works the best. Because that will probably help too.

you can buy stuff to put UNDER your make up. for eye make up its called a base or primer. and for your face its called a primer. but i dont think there is one for lips.

use long lasting makeup stuff

for the blush, use a creamy blush, i think it lasts longer than the powder

lipcolor: revlon lipcolor i think it's called colorstay.. it lasts for hours!

some tips:

-u MUST apply a base cream before using thfoundation

-u MUST apply concealer before applying the eyeshadow

If you put a powder or something over your makeup like these ppl are all saying be careful you dont keep reapplying it or put too much on because it seals your makeup but also seals your pours and can cause nasty breakouts in some ppl

i dont wear makeup, but in a magazine i read about this refreshing makeup spray stuff that you spray on your face whenever you makeup needs retouching and it makes it look like you just applied it.
