10 ANSWERS

  1. 1) Primer, concealer, foundation, powder

-Primer keeps everything in place, concealer to cover up problem spots, foundation on top to make sure your whole face has the same finish. If the concealer is kind of dewy and the foundation is matte, you don't want inconsistencies. Powder locks everything in place afterwards

    2) Just keep brushing your face with the foundation brush to evenly distribute the makeup. There is a foundation brush that does the job. Sponges are okay but they're a one-time use product. If you keep them after using them that one time they'll harbor bacteria and that can break you out. A foundation brush you can wash with warm water and soap.

    3) There are a lot of different colors that could be described as "light to medium brown," but it's mainly a trial and error experience when you try to find a foundation that works for you. Foundation and powder are supposed to be exactly your skin color. The whole point of foundation is to even out your skin tone and to look natural. If you feel like your skin is dull and dry, try exfoliating every 2-3 days and moisturizing daily. That should help a lot.

    4) Revlon has a foundation that works really well that's worth checking out. I personally use a Mary Kay foundation and it's been good to me so far.

    5) Sephora has a really great eyeliner and they're really not too expensive. Some of them are as cheap as $4. If you want a good drugstore brand eyeliner, I like L'Oreal HIP cream liners. The color is very dark, very bold, and doesn't budge. You'll need an eyeliner brush for that. I use one from Maybelline and it was about $3.

    6) I swear by my Lash Blast and my Define-a-Lash

    7) Try golds, purples, and greens.

    8) A primer underneath your eyeshadow will make sure that everything stays in place, and it also makes the colors bolder.

2)the best way to blend foundation and make it look more natural is buy a pack of cosmetic wedges $1-$3 , you wet the cosmetic wedge, ring it out a couple of times, then apply your favorite foundation for the best application

3)a tip to find the right color for your skin tone is to take a little bit of the foundation and put it near your jaw line to see if it matches / a foundation is supposed to be neither lighter nor darker, it should match your skin tone completely, i can tell you this though, your concealer is supposed to be a shade lighter than your skin tone. and powder is supposed to match your skin tone too

  5. 1) Concealer, Foundation, Powder (:

    2) I used liquid, best range of colours i think :] I'd put a mnm size bit on a little makeup sponge (i nab sample sponges from Sephora!! CHEAP!) and i swirl it around my cheeks, up my nose, chin, everywhere.. Swirling just makes it blend more I find!!

    3) It depends on if you want lighter skin or darker, some medium brown skinned girls thrive to be lighter so i would choose two shades lighter, and if you want to be darker one shade darker, you don't want to over exaggerate on the darkening cos you could add bronzer!

    4) I like the Body Shop's Oil Free foundation :) its so lightweight, and its BETTER cos it doesnt clog pores :D

    5) Eyeliner.. hmmm i don't know, drugstore eyeliners work fine but Shiseido is MINT look into that .

    6) Mascara... DIOR! so voluminious .

    7) Pink brings out dark brown eyes, pick out a pink that blends in with your skin :)

    8) Use an eye shadow primer!

  6. WOW nw I got a question 4 u... Do u have a life? Omg! No offence

  7. 1) foundation, concealer, powder.

2)Actually, blending with your fingrs (clean!) make it really even.

    3) I dunno.

    4)Covergirl, I really like trueblend.

    5)Marykay eyeliner

    6) Covergirl

    7)Gold!

    8) Use an eye primer.

  8. 1. (Moisturizer first, but you didn't have that in the list) Foundation, concealer, powder to set the look.

    2. It depends on the kind of coverage you want. First, always moisturize, because it helps the foundation blend better. I usually use a makeup sponge. Start by putting a little foundation on the sponge, then dab the foundation on the places you want to cover up and even out. Then go back and blend the foundation outwards, and make sure you blend all the way out to the hairline and jaw (though the foundation shouldn't be as heavy there). If you need more coverage in certain areas, go back over them and blend, blend, blend. You can also use your fingers if you only have a few areas you want to use foundation on. There are also foundation brushes you can buy at places like MAC or Sephora, though I'm not sure how applying foundation with a brush will make a difference.

    3. You should always test foundation on your jaw. If the foundation blends in, and you can't tell its there, then the shade matches. Some people test it on the inside of their wrist, but I  would NOT recommend this, because often that area is lighter or a different shade than your face is. Its really not as accurate as testing on your jawline. Do NOT get a shade lighter or darker than your skin, because you don't want to look like you're wearing a mask! Remember, we're not trying to change your skintone, here, we're trying to make your skin look naturally flawless! However, concealer (especially for undereye circles) should be a shade lighter than your skin. This rule doesn't apply for foundation! Your powder should also match your skintone. Some companies (like L'oreal) make matching powders for the foundation you buy.

    4. I've tried several drugstore foundations, but the best I've tried is L'oreal True Match. They have shades to match all different skintones with different undertones, too (cool, warm, and neutral). But, if you want a more expensive foundation that will be of a better quality, I suggest MAC Select SPF 15 Foundation. I use it currently, and it blends really well after you moisturize, and evens everything out seamlessly.

    5. Personally, I love Covergirl's Perfect Point Plus eyeliner. Its inexpensive, and it comes with a sponge on the end for smuding to get a softer look.

    6. I'm still looking for my favourite mascara! But I really like the Maybelline ones, especially the one with the mini-brush (Lash something, I can't quite remember). I also like Rimmel's.

    7. I would go for gold, shimmery brown, bronze, and green eyeshadows. Maybelline has eyeshadow quads that tell you exactly where to put the eyeshadow on your eyes for different looks.

    8. To make eyeshadow last longer, you can apply an eyeshadow primer (I think Urban Decay has one), or you can apply a neutral shade of eyeshadow that matches your eyelid to serve as the base for you eyeshadow. Using a little foundation on your eyelids before applying your eyeshadow can work as well.

I hope this helped, and good luck! :)
