  1. I always put a thin line of eyeshadow under my eye, and if you look at the tutorials on Youtube form panacea81, she always uses eyeshadow on the lower lid along with liner, it looks fabulous.

Really bright eye shadows are very tricky. If you apply too much, they will make you look like a ho, I usually mix them with more subtle tones, so there is a color, but it doesn't stand out a lot.

Very bright eyeshadow is certainly not for everyday wear.

I personally like lash blast better just because of the shape of the brush, it curves and lengthens better.

  2. Since you're a beginner at makeup, I wouldn't recommend using bright shadows.  It takes a lot of skill to pull it off.  Lining the lower lid with eyeshadow is ok if it's a thin line.  I can't say about the mascara since I've never used either.  However, I do know that Maybelline Great Lash and Urban Decay Big Fatty mascaras are excellent.

  3. well. i love the idea of bright eyeshadows, but honestly it rly depends on your eye color. your avatar has blue eyes [im not a creeper lol] and for blue eyes browns actually, i think look best. i wouldnt wear blue eyeshadow if you have blue eyes. cause you dont want to over power your eyes.

normally what happens...is if you have blue eyes, you want your eyeshadow to be less dramatic, so that your eyes pop.

for brown eyes, you wear more dramatic eyeshadows, purples and pinks and blues. because the contrast makes them pop.

If u like bright colors thats fine. dark green would look rly good on blue eyes, same with dark purple.

i infact do line my lower lid with my eyeshadow, just you want it to be really thin, otherwise it'll look like ur eyes smudged.

a good way to make it thin is take the smallest makeup brush you have [im talkin about tiny] get it damp, and use that to apply the eyeshadow to your lower lid. it helps the eyeshadow go on more smoothly, almost like ur putting on liquid eyeliner.

i think define-a-lash is better, but that just what my friends saay. i personally dont wear  mascara

    i hope i helped =]

  4. Typically, when I do my make up I put some conceler under my eye and then line my eye with a really light bronzy brown. then curl my lashes and apply my define a line mascara, I add a shimmery goldy colour to the corners of my eye. Then I apply a bronzer to my cheeks lightly, or if your lighter a blush.

rub some Vaseline on your lips before lip gloss so it doesn't dry out your lips!

  5. Ok first off, the girl that said bright eyeshadows scream s**t to a guy is a complete idiot.  I personally love bright eyeshadows and I love to cordinate them with my outfits and stuff.  But if you are just starting out with makeup try going lighter on the bright eyeshadow until you get a hang of how much you should be wearing and most importantly being comfortable wearing it. And yes, it does look nice to line your bottom lash with some eyeshadow especially if you are not wearing eyeliner.

I personally like Lash Blast the best out of the two mascaras that you have there. It goes on very smooth and no clumps.  Its nice.

Also with the brown eyeshadow, try using lighter shades of brown. Maybe the brown is just too dark for you to be using with your eyes.

  6. I am a fan of bright colors when it comes to shadows. The secret to pulling off bright shadows is to tone down the shades of the rest of your make up. If you are going to wear bright shadows make sure to go with softer tones of lip gloss. I would suggest nudes or light shades of pink.  I have never tried lash blast but define a lash is a really good mascara.

  7. 1. it sounds good

    2. I dont think you should wear a bright color i think it looks little girl-ish, maybe a natural or a gold-ish color eyeshadow

    3. define a lash is better

thats a really pretty, and kinda subtle color unless u put a TON on

  8. bright eyeshadows scream s**t to any guy pick neutrals and if you MUST use brite colors dont go too overboard :) i line my lower lid with darker eyeshadow and then lighten colors as i work up it replaces eyeliner :)  AND last but not least lsh blast is the better product they give you more it lasts long but is easy to take off :) have fun at school babe

    im no cinderella ;)

  9. For the Bright colors i would wear and outfit with the bright colors otherwise it would be a bit too much. I think that you could use those colors but soft takes of them.

I think that adding eyeshadow color under your lid is good sometimes but i get what you me that it makes you look like you have been crying. i apply a little on the outside and then use a smudger to  pull it to the inside giving it a softer look. Maybe apply the brown eyeliner on the waterline(where your tear duct is)

I havent used either of those mascara's but i have heard good things about Lash Blast.

  10. Foe blue eyes I think plums, greens and pinks look good and champagne eyeshadows. Lining your lower lid with one of your eyeshadow colors look just fine. And if your wear bright shadows a lot then mix them with neutral colors. I personally like Define-A-Lash more than Lash Blast, it's packaging is slimmer and they have a volume version and a lengthening one and many other good mascaras. HTH

  11. Use lilac or lavender or sand or light grey pebble because those colors really brighten blue eyes and make them stand out.

If your eyes are close set and deep set then lining the bottom will only make them look even smaller.

Use lilac, lavender or voilet eyeliners for the top eyelash lines.

To define eyelashes is for thin fine short eyelashes and lash blast is the make long, thick eyelashes even longer and thicker.

Use waterproof soft black or voilet mascara and always use waterproof eye makeup remover with eye make up removing eye pads.

Have you mineral based eyeshadows? Those won't run.

Remember less eyeshadow is best, otherwise you'll look like a raccoon.
