Makeup questions and tips plz? details...?

Okay..im kinda new to this whole makeup thing

i was thinking i just need mascara, eyeliner, lip gloss, and foundation

also, i might need some eyeshadow, but i have no idea where to start and end the color

wat is the process and in which order do i do it in?

thx!

do i need lotion before foundation?

and how do i apply everything

if you are looking for a more natural look:

you should start by washing ur face. then apply a small amount of lotion to ur face.

next you should apply foundation, but no too much because else ur face could end up looking chalky.

then  put a thin line of eyeliner to the root of you eye lashes. ( top and or bottom lashes).

after that you should apply your eye shadow if you are going to use some. but once again not too much and not too high on ur eyes.

finally apply ur mascara to your lashes.

then for you last step put on ur lip gloss.

i'm 15 and this is what i do, and i get a lot of complements on how natural it looks.

what you need:

pressed powder

lip gloss

lip/cheek stain

mascara

eyelash curler

neutral brown eyeshadows

first apply the pressed powder to your t-zone

use a light brown all over your lid and stop at your creases. then apply a medium brown in your creases and blend the two colors together

then curl your lashes and apply mascara

use a lip gloss or lip stain

I started wearing makeup when I was in 6th grade.

If your just starting out with makeup I dont think you should do eye shadows just yet because they can be a little tricky.

This is how I do it, (order):

foundation

eyeliner

mascara

lip glosss.

Make sure you wash your face befre you put on any makeup. You should start off with a 'clean canvas' before 'painting' a masterpeice.

If you want to go for a more natural look then just do a light foundation, black mascara, brown eyeliner, and nurtral lip gloss. If you want to go for somthing that pops a bit more then do black mascara, black eyeliner (not to thick), lip glos with a bi of color in it, and any foundation.

Makeup I use that actually stays on the whole day:

Mascara: LashBlast by Cover girl $8.00

Eyeliner: Liquid liner by Lancome $20

Liquid foundation: By Al May

Heres some tips I learned recently:

Orange cancels out blue(dark under eye circles)if you have dark under eye circles buy some cheap orange lipstick or lipgloss, apply a little to the circles, put a little LIQUID concealer on the orange and blend it out. It works like magic!

Also, green cancels out red. If you have some red marks on your face do the same steps as with the under eye circles. Except use green instead of orange.

EDIT: If you lightly mist your face with hairspray and will help your eyelashes stay like you want them too.

first of all you need a good lotion before applying the foundation in order to keep it in place . you aply this gently with your fingers. then you apply the foundation( if its in liquid form with your fingers or a special kind of sponge- the triangular shaped sponge is a good one)make sure you spread it evenly and dont put too much . put a spot on each cheek nose forehead and chin. if you feel that you will mess up your eye with the mascara apply it before the eyeshadow( i put the mascara after). make sure you twist the brush of the mascara in order to give your eyelashes a curved shape. then you apply the eyeshadow with the correct brush. the colours and the way you apply it depends on the shape and colour of your eye . have a research on this in order to find which one suits you. lastly, apply just a bit of foundation on your lips (just to make lipgloss last longer) and apply somu shiny lipgloss on them. good luck:):)

1. typical makeup you will need:

-foundation - depending on your colour

-blusher/bronzer

-mascara

-kohl eyeliner

-an eye shadow

*blue eyes = blue/pink/green

*green eyes = green/purple/black

*brown eyes = brown/gold/orange

2. put it on... lotion/cream - make sure it isnt too greasy *you don't actually have to use lotion if you don't want*

then: foundation first covering all of face

then blusher or bronzer on the apple of your cheeks

then eye shadow

then kohl in the eye

the lastly mascara

then lipgloss if you want but don't go OTT

get someone to help you and practice =]

*hold the curler right up to th root of the lashes and hold for ten secs
