Makeup that stands out?

I am 14 turning 15 and I don't want to look crazy but I want to have fun with my makeup. I have darker red hair and brown eyes, I am not a ginger, but my hair is natural. I am fair skinned. I want to know what colors to wear that stand out, in makeup and clothes

i read in a magazine that you should do something completely opposite. dont wear anything red. instead do like green/purple or something. and black eyeliner works for everybody :)

For make-up, I would say more of a sophisticated green like not a girly green but a darker green for eye shadow and brown eye liner.

For clothes I would say dark green's, blacks and some lighter blues.

When I was your age, we literally played with every color under the sun. If you don't want to look over the top, greens, browns and greys will work well with your coloring, I believe, and are pretty much fail safe for play, in my opinion, because none of them are bold enough to really look bad. Well, some shades of green, but I'm sure that you can look at them and tell that they'll be a little insane. Also, you could probably get away with most shades of purple.

For lips, go with peachy/coral reds, medium browns and really sparkly medium pinks. Also, classic red is great on anyone who doesn't have really thin lips. I'd recommend staying away from burgundy and berry types, as they might clash with your hair (I'm not too clear on what you mean by darker red...)

I think that having silver (shadow, liner, mascara, lipstick and glitter!) is a must, when you're having fun, too. It is one of the few things that looks good on everyone.

Some people say that gold is good for redheads, but I personally believe that it is a bit much... That's up to you, I suppose.
