The retired pacer of Team http://www.senore.com/Cricket/South-Africa-c757, Makhaya Ntini, has been appointed as Cricket South Africa’s Cricket Development Ambassador for promoting the game in his home province, Eastern Cape. He is the first one to embrace this role with the CSA.
The province of Eastern Cape has abundant cricket talent and Nitni wants to streamline it in order to produce some quality cricketers for the future.
The ex-paceman is quite satisfied with this new job and confident to achieve his goals. Talking to the media after his appointment, Nitni said, “I am very http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Arthur-Percival-Day-c45927 to continue working with CSA but in this different avenue. I am very passionate about cricket
especially in the forgotten parts of South Africa in the rural areas like the one I come from.”
As cricket is a popular game in the African region, the far-flung, underdeveloped areas have enough to do for the game but they are always neglected as there is no one to convey their voice to the national cricket authorities.
Nitni told, “This latest journey will allow me to continue spreading the word about cricket and bring the spotlight to the http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Young-c98322 boys and girls form the smaller areas in South Africa.”
The CSA have identified some areas that need infrastructure development. Nitni http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Peter-Willey-c81951 work for developing logistical facilities and exploring the hidden talent.

Before taking this new role, Nitni was already involved in cricket development in the Eastern Cape. Now the backing of CSA will make his work easier.
Majola says, “Makhaya is a true ambassador of the sport, he has done more for the game of cricket than anybody in promoting the game.”
CSA’s long time sponsor, Shyam Bhatia, has also granted cricket equipment to the rural teams. The Dubai businessman owns an organization, Cricket for Care, that works for the promotion of the game across the globe.
Majola handed over the equipment to the local teams yesterday and thanked Shyam for his efforts to promote the game.
