  1. you should do

    its a fairly common spice

    its a more refined curry type spice, kinda greeny brown in colour

    but it is fairly common


  2. yes you can- anywhere, your wal mart, grocery.

    saffron, tumeric and corriander is a good substittute too!

  3. It depends on where you live. Walmarts, etc vary the spice by ethnic background that shop there. I have a local grocery that specializes in international, etc. I would go to some place like that.

  4. It's available in most large supermarkets in the spice aisle, but it's much cheaper in the Indian stores and you will get a much larger quantity.
