  1. Easy

    Disconnect from the Internet

    Never insert any disks, CDs, DVDs, Thumb Drives etc

    You could never turn it on but I suppose that would be silly.

    The answer is, you can't.  There is no 100% bullet proof solution regardless of how much money you, as an individual, would throw at your computer to accomplish this.

    The only computers that are risk free in the government are those that are isolated from any contact with the outside world.

    Definition of Safe;

         Secure from danger, harm, or evil.

         Free from danger or injury;

         Free from risk;

    There is not one thing in this world that is safe.

  2. get some free anti virus software many internet provider provide it for free, and surf online on proxy servers. go to google and type proxy servers and then u can surf web invincible

  3. There is no way to have a completely invincible comp, unless you don't even connect to the internet at all. Especially not for free....

  4. Well first off get a firewall:

    Free (pick one)

    http://www.sunbelt-software.com/Home-Hom...

    http://www.personalfirewall.comodo.com/

    To block remote intrusions into your computer.

    Next get an Anti-Virus

    (your better off getting a paid one, more reliable)

    (pick one)

    Free:

    http://free.avg.com/

    http://www.avast.com/eng/avast_4_home.ht...

    http://www.free-av.com/

    Paid:

    http://www.eset.com/ (nod32) (recommended)

    http://www.kaspersky.com/

    Next Get a Anti-Spyware in case it wasn't included in any of the Anti-Virus above:

    Free:(pick one)

    http://www.safer-networking.org/

    (Spybot S&D) (recommended)

    http://lavasoft.com/products/ad_aware_fr...

    Next Watch the websites you go to and what programs you download and use.

    Ex:

    p2p software (very high risk of viruses)

    random links on web pages

    Just keep your eyes open for suspicious websites.

    Absolutey make sure you keep up to date with your Operating Systems Security Updates. This is very important.

    If you have Windows XP make sure you have updated to Service Pack 3.

    If you have Windows Vista Make sure you have updated to Service Pack 1.

    Make you you always check for updates with Windows, its very important when dealing with malicious attacks from viruses, spyware, malware, etc.

    Then you should be safe. But there is always the chance if your not careful to be attacked, just be aware.

    Hope I helped

  5. No computer connected to the net is invincible. Doesn't matter the OS installed, it can still be accessed by unwanted users and programs. Windows machines are the easiest, but if you do use one you need more protection than AVG free. I suggest AVG Internet Sec 8.0, as it seems to keep the most c**p out when configured properly. Also remember that no free security apllication is very good and is usually some sort of spyware. Most importantly, no matter how great any Internet Security app is there are still too many users out there that click on every link and unknown piece of e-mail and spam they see and wonder why they have a non responsive hijacked system. It blows my mind.

  6. You can't make it invincible. You can protect your computer from viruses like downloading free AVG and Avast. Be sure you have also a powerful firewall to protect you. But all i can say, you can't do it to be free always by making your computer invincible.

  7. Haaaa Invicable huh?

    LOL... well from the free category AVG is great... but invicible nahhh... you have to understand that until a virus protection program  could do it's job.. it has too know there is a virus there.  AVG like 100% of all anti-virus programs are susceptable to "forgetititis" this is when the update program forget's to update or the owner gives it the desease. lol lol

    The key is to surf safely.. and stay away from stuff that is not secure.. update your virus protection "daily".   You can be one of those lucky people that catches the latest greatest virus and the definition/update is not yet created or installed for your VP program.  Surfing and email is like safe s*x.. do not do it unless you have protection... or better yet.. if it is too good to be true..then it is.. lol.. so avoid..

    Wow! Funny how the internet and computers is like dating huh?

  8. AVG Free
