Making a Dutch (split) door?

Question

Does anyone know of a website that has instructions or plans for converting an interior door into a dutch door? They are very expensive to purchase, so there must be more to it than cutting the door in half and adding new hardware. Any help would be appreciated

Well, that's what I did. Just cut the door in half and fitted wood into the cut ends, cleaned up the edges and added new mortises for hinges.
