Making a Haruhi Suzumiya / Misa / Ichigo - Tokyo Mew Mew / Dokuro-chan... costume / cosplay? How to? Ideas?

Me and my friends are going to the Anime Expo in October, and We have only about 2 months to make our costume, buying the costume online is way too expensive.

We've decided to make our own costume.

We have trouble of how to make it...

Please tell us if you know any website that have instruction (with picture is better) that can help anyone of us.

For Haruhi Suzumiya,

I am thinkig of geting some of my old clothes and paint them blue, that saves a lot of fabric money...

The one that I'm worrying the most is the Ichigo Costume from Tokyo Mew Mew / Mew Mew Power... My friend wanted to go as Ichigo for anime expo but she cant buy it online... and she said she is rubbish at sewing... Please tell us how to make the costume for Ichigo...

Easy tip for Haruhi Costume, since halloween is coming up you could just buy a bunny costume and go as bunny Haruhi.

For an easy Ichigo costume, i would do the same thing with the Haruhi, however do Ichigo in her maid costume. however wear a pink wig and the cats ears. If you don't wanna be the maid. i would buy a pink frilly skirt and a long pink tube top. and just cute accordingly.
