Question:

Making a baby quilt?

I am going to be making a baby quilt. I have some experience sewing but mostly just doll quilts and doll clothes for my daughter. The only thing I am concerned about is the last edge (The one that you can't sew "inside.") I want it to look "professional" not poorly made. Should I simply turn under the edge and straight stitch it? What stitch is the best for strength? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
