Is there any wedsites that can tell you how to make ball jointed dolls and where to find clothes and wigs?

But why make one when you can buy?  Your cost for molds, etc, resin and everything else would probably exceed what you would spend on buying a well made doll.  And if this would be your first go, there are probably also going to be the costs of mistakes as I doubt any first try would be right on the money.

Consider that because of the wigs, changeable eyes, and paintable faces, most of these dolls become rather unique and to their owner's taste, even if they are a standard doll offered by one of the companies making them.  You also have the knowledge that there will be plenty of outfits (including shoes) that fit by going with a known brand and Lolita dress is available for all of them.

If Volks is too expensive, you may want to try one of the more economical brands as Elfdoll or Narae.  Try to visit a forum site like Den of Angels or Ryung Soah Yahoo Group that is dedicated to these dolls.  You may get some inspiration from these, even if you decide to try and make your own which a lot of people dream of.
