Making a board game?

Question

im a very creative person and i wanna make a board game.

kinda like monopoly!

the theme is like... teenagers.

stuff that teenagers do and that we like.

any suggestions?

Ok teensagers mostly like to hang out with their friends and explore to see what they could do like go on different adventures so you could make a little game about different adventures they  go on and have them be with a friend so try something like that and good luck

there are so many different versions of monopoly that they probably already have that and the makers of monopoly will sue you.

Well, of course you should probably just think up some sort of objective, and then you can make up the rules. I really don't have any ideas for how you would portay your topic, but I really wanted to help. Maybe like some race to be valedictorian and collect credits and grades or something, or maybe a race for class president, where you are the candidate and your try to woo voters. Hoped I could help.

measure a board game board you already have but don't particularly like/need, make a blank image meeting those sizes maybe w/ slightly larger for tabs, the game board, and print and tape, or take it to Kinko's to have it all one one piece of paper,  or if you are going to go more in the monopoly theme, just print new property strips, and print the new property's on card stock, word of warning, dont try to duplex card stok, it james

but if your fishing for a theam, try electronics, ending off w/ Wii and PS3 for as park place and board walk,  and like 8track player and record player as the 2 and the start, some were along the way Ipod, ipod nano, and vIpod could be a set, try that

Make it a drinking game and teenagers will love it. Include 420 in there as well, and makeing out.

well, we really dont like to play board game that are long. exept risk, that game is SWEET, but we also dont wanna play something short and boring, like race to the roof. so i suggest something were they create therir own buissness and make it kinda like real life.you know, taxs, stock, being bought out. but simplify it. and the thing that would get it the most use is a really good name that makes them wonder what its about. like jemanji, but not that, it already exists. may luck be with you young podiwan.
