Making a chocolate mayonnaise cake and don't have any vanilla...?

I am about to make a chocolate mayonnaise cake for my husband and I don't have any vanilla...I was wondering if it would taste all that different if I just leave it out. It only calls for 1 tsp vanilla.

ive made that cake omit the vanilla,the cocoa over ride the flavor it work ok with out it

im not sure if that would make it any diffrent....but i was wondering if you could give me the recipe for that, i have never heard of it before...

u can use orange rind -grated it works really well

a teaspoon of rum or whiskey works well also...

I use it in stead of vanilla all the time..
