Making a lacrosse team?

this is my schools second year with lacrosse. i really want to play. i have a stick and a few balls and i can catch and throw extremely well...but i dont know how a game goes...pleez explain what i need to practice to make the team

my team at my school just started 3 years ago too. and i just started playing this year i first picked up my stick 3 months before tryouts and i made it.our team is very good we only lost one game this season so rest assured it was hard to make the team. its a really fun sport but make sure you are in shape. you need to be able to sprint moderatly fast and be able to keep up with the fast pace. your constantly sprinting then stopping suddenly because of the whistle, so you have to be able to sprint, calm down real quick, and then start sprinting right up again. if your stick work is good and you are in shape you should make the team. also try practicing with your non-dominate hand. like if your right handed practice with your left hand and vice versa. you switch hands alot so make sure you can cradle with both sides.
