This question is mostly for the ladies. But I was wondering what you would do if your car (suv, van, or truck) broke down while getting ready to make a left hand turn. Would you try to move it yourself or would you walk away until someone came to help?

  1. It will depend on what I am driving.  If I am in my personal vehicle, I will put the 4ways on & call AAA to get help right away.  Then, keep trying every so often to start it & hope for the best.  If I am in my 18wheeler, then a different ball game.  I contact my company's breakdown dept, so they can get me help.  Unless I know what it is & have sufficient air pressure, I will try to restart my truck.  If I can't get it going after 10mins, I am required by FMCSA rules & regs to dig my reflective triangles out of my sidebox & set them up, so traffic know I can't move.  Under no circumstnce will I move any vehicle without help.  I can risk serious injury otherwise.

  2. I would hope someone would be close to help if you were not physically able, sometimes you can someone to push with there car if they are not worried about scratches, some cars have those rubber bumpers though.
