Making a little girls tutu..How many yards of tulle to make it very full.?

I have found alot of wonderful website on how to make my daughter a tutu, but most of them say to use 2-4 yards of tulle. That just doesnt seem like enough to make it full to me. I am wanting to make her one similiar to the ones on BellaMonetDesigns.com. According to their website they say their tutus are made with over 150 feet of tulle..which is 50 yards, correct? Anyways..I was wondering if anyone could tell me how many yards of tulle I should use to make my 3 year old daughter a tutu that is very full. Also, any tips on making it look full and beautiful? Thanks so much.

Here is a fantastic website for tutu making, the tutorial is very good and it takes very little time to make the tutu.  The instructions call for 4 yards, but I ended up using about 5.5 yards on the tutu for my 3 year old Grandmonster.  It was VERY full and stood out beautifully.  The website has lots of instructions for little girl projects, I've use many of their instructions and everything has turned out perfectly.  Hope this helps!  Good Luck!!
