  1. Someone's already covered the copyright issue, so I won't belabor the point.  Do what's right.

Staples doesn't have prices online, at least not without submitting the job to them.  'Sizes up to 24" x 36" - Mounting and laminating also available.'

    I uploaded a 1500px x 2100px (5x7 at 300 pixels per inch) image.

    - 24x36 on heavyweight paper: $42.

    - 24x36 on photo paper: $48.

    - 24x36 lamination is another $12, regardless of the paper quality.

A 4" x 4" web picture (72 pixels per inch) may just turn out as a lot of very fuzzy dots.

  2. The biggest cost might be buying the photograph. If you do not own the rights you cannot make it into a poster.

Onward; 4x4 what? Inches, pixels? It sounds small.

Many people consider posters 16x20" or bigger...so a 4x4" picture enlarged would probably look pretty poor.
