Making a toast?

Question

I have to make a toast at my parents 40th Anniversary. Im not good at speaking in front of a big crowd. Any ideas of what to say? Something short and sweet.

be like its so amazing how a couple could stay together for such a long time and its even more amazing that its my parents.

you can probably say..... i've had good years with my parents and they have been a happy couple for 40 years now.  and i hope they will always live a happy life forever together because i love them both and they are very special to me.

Something short and sweet definitely - something like: I'd like to thank you all for coming tonight/today where we celebrate my parents and their wonderful marriage. please raise your glass as we toast to love and happiness"
