Making a website is it illegal to copy pictures from another website?

I am in the process of making an online store and I am selling pet products. I bought a BUNCH of treats, toys etc.. so is it okay to copy the treats for example from the website (it is just the picture of the treat bag and a white background, nothing else) and copy it to my website that I am selling their products. It is used just to sell their products. I can save to my comp. and there are millions like the pictures of the treats with just a white background. It is not traced to anything. So can I do this? Example a picture of pedigree dog food bag with just nothing behind it just the bag, can I copy onto my website?

If it's just for a catalog, I'd say you should be safe. However, it's generally safer to make your own pictures by making your own little photo studio (it's just a nice light and a large piece of white construction paper).

you would have to take the pics yourself
