Ok I had this idea that if I connect to a wireless connection using my laptop and then a ran an ethernet cable from my xbox 360 to my laptop It would technicly work. Will it? I tried it and it didnt work the 1st time. So is there some kind of network sharing I should turn on so It can locate my 360? of will this simply just not work? And why?

  1. Hi

Yes that's totally possible, basically you need to bridge your ethernet and wireless connections, but you need to play with the DNS settings a little.

This guide covers the whole process: http://www.themanfromdelmonte.co.uk/2008...

It doesn't hurt to try it.  It will not cost you any money as long as you have an ethernet cable to do this.  If you notice lag, check these 2 videos out:
