I wanted to make some homemade baked beans, but all I have at this time is beans from a 15 bean soup mix. I won't be using the seasoning packet. I'm soaking the beans now, but has anybody ever tried this? The beans are northern, pinto, large lima, blackeye, garbanzo, baby lima, green split pea, kidney, cranberry bean, small white, pink bean, small red, yellow split pea, lentil, navy, white kidney and black bean.
I'm going to try it tomorrow, but wanted to know if anybody has tried with success or failure. Any pointers?
