To tell the truth, the only way in which you can gain a lot of money in The Sims 2 for PS2 is pretty hard and exhausting.

I will make a list of things you should do in order to get a huge amount of money in a few days playing time.

1) Create your sim, choose your aspiration, etc.

2) Construct your house, or enter an existing one.

3) Grab a newspaper (computer if the house contains one) and search for a job (IMPORTANT PART) that enters your characters wishes and strengths. No use in working as a military if your character likes to paint and is popular.

4) According to the job's main requirements; work them out until they reach level 8+. e.g.: Military= Strength, Intelligence, etc.

5) Make your sim as happy as possible before he goes to work (IMPORTANT PART).

6)Continue playing and you should get promoted as quick as a bullet.
