Making custom t shirts with image?

so im in charge of making t shirts for my xc team and we have an image we want on on the tshirts. its saved to my comp. as a pic. and i can upload it to a t shirt making site im using but i want to know if the image will blend with the shirt and look nice and professional or will it looklike c**p, like it was ironed on or something. does anyone have any ideas or sites or tips? much appreciated
