Making grand piano out of cardboard?

for a school project on beethoven, i was gonna make a grand piano out of cardboard (not as big, obviously, but pretty big). any ideas?

  1.   You only need white or yellow wood glue (PVA) for paper.  If you look around, you will find corrigated cardboard (brown with wavy stuff attached) without the outer sheet. It is used for packing.  It has the advantage of curving nicely for the sides of the piano.  By gluing it along the edge of a shaped panel you can get the shape perhaps in 2-3 layers and then cover it with brown paper for stiffness. And of course big flat sheets are available for the lid.


  2. haha ok maria just bust out laughing at you. lol. this is Teresa btw. ok, are you dealing with real cardboard or posterboard?

    we have big sheets of carboard, first of all, if you need some. alright, maria has some ideas so i'll call you.
