Making long distance calls,,,,?

Question

my mom needs to make a long distance call but we dont have long distance on our phone dose anyone know another one of those numbers like 10-10-620 for canada.........the ones they just bill to u phone bill thanks so much

10-10-620 is nice for long (in duration) calls.  Where they really make their money is from people calling and an answering machine picks up because no matter how long you talk, it costs $1.  One I used to use before getting digital phone with free unlimited long distance was 10-10-YAK.  There's no surcharges, monthly fees, etc.  It goes on your monthly telephone bill.  The rates to Canada and the states is 5 cents per minute no mater how long you talk so if you plan on talking longer than 20 minutes and you know the person is there then 10-10-620 is a better deal.  If 10-10 numbers are blocked from your line for some reason, you can always use a calling card since they work off toll free numbers.  Rates from Canada to Canada are as low as 0.8 cents per minute (less than a penny!) to 4.7 cents per minute for a card with no maintenance fees and 1 minute rounding.  If you use up your minutes quickly than the weekly maintenance fees aren't an issue and you can make use of the 0.8 cents per minute.  Besides cards are available in values as small as $5 which equals 625 minutes.  If you just make short calls every now and then, then the 4.7 cents per minute card is a better deal and you can just use it when you need it.  You can also use either of them from cell phones, pay phones or your friends phones.  They're pretty cool.  They're not actually cards but a phone number and pin code that gets emailed to you right away when you pay for it.  If you're interested in these prepaid calling cards, check them out at this link: http://speedypin.com/?aff=11348
