Recently congress talked with some oil companies to find out about them making such huge profits recently. Can anyone tell me who makes the most money when a gallon of gasoline is sold?

Bet you can't guess.

  1. it's not the station. they make about five to seven cents a gallon unless someone uses a credit card then they make less. because of the fees charged for accepting credit cards by the c.c. companies

the tax on the station is about 40 cents a gallon in Mo

the freight is about four cents

so it would have to be the oil company/stockholders or the government

  2. The Government!
