Making money while on social security diability?

I want to help bring in extra money. Can I do this while on social security disability? Won"t working cause me to loose the disability? How much can I make? Are there different laws for different states? I live in Arizona.

If you qualify for SSI benefits, it is because you were deemed medically incapable of working.  If you are planning on working to make money, you basically are defeating the purpose.

If you work, you will lose your benefits.

Every state is different. Chances are, you can work part time just a few hours a week and you will not be allowed to earn very much. You could work under the table, but if you get caught, you'd lose your benefits and even possibly be charged with fraud.
