Making my dog use the toilet?

Question

My friends think it is inhumane that I punish my dog for going to the bathroom outside, because he is a rescue dog. Do you think it is okay that I make my dog use the toilet and flush?

You ought not have a dog,  if you have no idea how to look after one.

think you've seen "meet the parents" and "meet the fockers" too many times. dogs are animals, they should go outside. it is cruel to punish and animal for doing something that he is hardwired by thousands of years of programing to do. they scent other animals when they are outside, you are also denying him that.

seriously, dont  punish your dog for going to the bathroom outside, all dogs go outside. youre ridicolous.  if you were going to do that why not just adopt a human?? if you are a minor though, dont adopt anything!! gee. i would sure hate to be that dog.
