Making my own trading card game, what type of card do i use?

Hey, me and my friends decided to have a go at making our own trading card game, similar to Yu-Gi-Oh or Duelmasters, but we dont know what type of card to use, what to print them with, and where to get that stuff. please, help!

Years ago people traded playing cards. they were expensive at that time,Some were famous paintings and if you had a pair( like bridge cards come in a double deck, they were special. some brand of card companies were famous. Things go in cycles at that time My sister had one then about 10 years later it started over again with me.Then companies started printing playing card backs but they were crummy, at the same time bubblegum had the baseball very common I just threw them out,but as all things go, the more people that throw things out the more valuable they become,So it would have to be something limited. but that is a great Idea, I hope you get some help I just had a silly idea "fruit and vegetable stickers" apply them to a file card and write the information what type of fruit and the store and what the # means grower.
