  1. You can print out the image as large as you want it on the cake, trace it on waxed paper, and then use the waxed paper as a stencil to cut the shape out of rolled fondant, and lay it on top of the cake.  Maybe cut out some smaller ones too and put them around the sides.

  2. Some grocery store bakery's can actually make an edible design transfer that you can put right onto the cake. It is made from rice paper and has no flavor. They print it out using edible ink and rice paper that just "melts" on top of the cake.

I don't reccomend purchasing an airbrush kit, unless you plan to use it alot. It is pricey.

Or you can use piping gel and trace the design and then fill it in on top of the cake. You want to have the design reversed so when you trace, then flip it onto the cake, it is right. Like a mirror image. I would google if you don't know how, but it is very easy. Easier than fondant.

    not as pricey as airbrush.

  3. I would do a heart-shaped cake, and air-brush the design on it.  :)  You can get the air-brush at any decorating supply shop.

  4. if you take the picture to a grocery store or bakery they should be able to air brush the design on top. I live by a Aberton's/Jewell store and they can transfer photos on top of cakes!

  5. Wow Cool tattoo.  I would definitely make a heart shaped cake.  You can buy heart shaped pans at the Walmart or a cake decorating store.

Frosting the cake and then pipe the design on with a different color frosting.  If you think you wouldn't be any good at piping the frosting you could enlarge and print out that picture and trace it onto heavy construction paper.  Cut it out (the dots will make it hard but you will think of something!) Glue the design to a toothpick and stick it in the center of the cake.

Very easy, very cool!  What a great sister you are!

    Have fun!
