Making space on my computer? Important, PLEASE HELP!?

Okay, so I want to play my sims game, but whenever I try to play it a little message comes up that says:

The Sims 2 requires at least 1 MB of free disk space.

Free up some space on your local disk and then re-launch The Sims 2.

I know what I have to do (Free up some space, uninstall some stuff, right?) but how do I do that? How can I see what's installed on my local disk? Help please?

  1. There are several methods for this; If you have XP, one great way is to compress the 'c' drive like this : Start > My computer > right click 'C' drive > Properties > general tab; near the bottom,  check both boxes.  It may say '2-3 DAYS to  finish,  don't panic, this drops dramatically as it works... just let it finish up by itself.

After that's done, defrag (start > All programs > Accessories > System Tools > defrag)

Get a little utility called 'CCleaner' (freeware) and run that.

    This should get you goin'.

    haha I love that game.

    but you go to start,

then go to the control panel,

then find something that says "Uninstall a program"

or "add or change program" or something like that.

then a window will come up with all of the things

you have on your computer and you can easily

click on the programs you want to uninstall.

    hope this helps:]
