How can i turn a 100cc scooter in to a 50cc, and be written as 50cc on the paperwork?

  1. you can't change an engine's displacement, that's retarded.

    the only thing you can do is buy a 50cc engine and install it on your little POS.

    and that would be so time consuming and expensive you'd be much better off just buying a 50cc piecer.


  2. you could probably make the engine into a 50cc, but you will never be able to change the original paperwork. that is issued by the manufacturer and even they can't change it once it has been put into use.

  3. You can change the displacement of any engine by putting a smaller diameter sleeve in it and or putting a shorter rod in it.

    This will be a costly and unrewarding venture.

    Regardless of if you change the displacement of your engine your title will still state that it is a 100cc and that is what you have to report to your insurance.

  4. in addition to what Stan G said, you can however get a 50cc bike and make the engine bigger without changing the paperwork.

  5. The real question is why would you want to try this ill fated and non rewarding scam in the first place.

    Go ride the 100cc bike and be a man.
