Making the most out of my dakota

Question

i got a 01 5.9L v8 dakota what can i do to it to make it runn faster,better and better fuel economy

i dont wwant like turbo charger s im talking like K & n air filters exhaust cool air intake etc

on the 5.9 you cant have faster and better fuel economy at the same time,anytime you alter the way it runs you will also alter the current gas mileage it gets,adding some things like a filter to it will help some,improving the exhaust on it will help it a lot,that and adding a K&N filter will do the most for it on gas milegae,if you want real performance from it add a programmer to it,that will allow you dial in the settings a lot better, it alters all factory settings and will improve the running part of t a lot better,it wont help much on mileage though,good luck.
