  1. The process used to make trash into fuel pollutes the air and often the water/land near by. It isn't a good idea.

  2. Technically when stuff decays at dumps, including food, they release methane gas.  And methane makes up 98% of natural gas.

There is also an article in either Popular Science or Mechanics about the greenest cities in the US, and methane is produced from bacteria that eat grass clippings for lunch, which releases methane gas.

And not just grass, but also fecal matter we flush down our toilets, and that partially cleans the water while the water if finally cleaned within a hydroponic garden.

And with biodiesel fuel, all you need is a funnel, a coffee filter, and used kitchen grease that you can find in virtually any restaurant.  Place the coffee filter into the funnel, and pour the kitchen grease in the funnel.  When the kitchen grease flows through the filter, it comes out as biodiesel fuel.

And without modifying a diesel engine at all, biodiesel has about 90% the range in comparison to regular diesel.

And there are many other high tech methods.

  3. It has been proposed to burn trash ,but the environmentalist blocked it...

  4. yes. the trash that just sits there , seeps into the ground and then eventually it turns to natural gas!! People are getting smarter and the world can be better
