Making videos off xbox games?

Question

I just got an xbox elite a few days ago. got live, and everything seems to be working.

i have halo 3 [only game atm] and was wondering how you make videos on it? like, dont i have to get a program and put it on my xbox?

if yes, what program, how, etc.

and anything to edit it?

For Halo specifically it will save videos of your last 25 games played. You can watch them by going into the Theater. Also you can take screenshots/ video and upload them to Bungie.net.

if you mean make videos for youtube, you can upload a video to your halo file share from your game, and there is a site that lets you get those videos and then edit them for youtube.  there are several, just google "get videos off halo 3 file share"
