Making videos on my mac?

Question

I want to make a video on my mac with OS X and i dont know how to capture the whole screen in video, i know how to capture a snapshot, but i dont know how to capture a video, so please help!?!?!?!?

if your saying you want to make a movie of something your doing on your computer then you need to download a program because mac os x doesn't come with any that can do it.

if your saying you've got clips on an external device you want to put on your computer then you need to follow the instructions in iMovie help and the manual that came with your external device.

here's the problem what is the source of you video...simple answer you can us i-movie very simple to use you have import you video from a camera or compatible file...if it's a camera you plug it in via firewire(recommended) or usb then hit the import button it will upload...
