I am trying to make my own but with Mircosoft word when I go to the next line it adds a number like if one on top of the other 55+45 it will add 56 in the middle! Can I turn that off or is there a site to do this?

  1. If I'm understanding correctly, you need to turn off the numbering; it sounds like it's automatically numbering for you and thinking your numbers are line numbers. Highlight all of your work, click on Format, then select Bullets and Numbering and click on None. Then you need to click on Tools, then AutoCorrect Options, then AutoFormat As You Type tab, then make sure the box next to Automatic Numbered Lists is NOT checked. (This is all assuming you have a similar version of Word!) It should stop automatically adding numbers.

  2. I don't get any commission for this, but if you (or your folks) can spare $25, I recommend:

I used an earlier version of their software with my kids when they were younger....  it works very well, and easily generates worksheets (w/ or w/o answers) for you...

  3. I generate free math worksheets at a couple of sites.  They are listed below.  Hope they are useful.
