Question:

Making zucchini bread?

I have a recipe for zucchini bread, but it dosn't say what size loaf pan to use...how full should I have the batter in the pan. Too much and it goes over the top; too little and it's too thin. Would two-thirds be about right?

  1. yeah two thirds. but use what ever loaf pan you got and if your going to buy one, you gotta get the mini loaf pan, it seems that a large loaf pan will dry my zuc/banana bread out. heck you can even use cupcake ones if you want

  2. If the recipe does'nt specify, I'd suggest a standard 9" x 5" loaf pan, like you'd use for meat loaf or bread.  Just put all the batter into this pan and you should be fine.

  3. I never fill my loaf pans more than 3/4 of the way, so I'd have to say that 2/3 should be OK.

  4. I use mini loaf pans and yes, i go to bout 2/3rd.
